The following terms and conditions are effective as of October 1st, 2017.

When you book a tour with Excella Tours, the following terms and conditions apply to your contract with us. If other third parties are involved in the package, you agree that those terms and conditions apply to all the transactions involved. If you are not in agreement with all of these terms and conditions, please do not book tours with us.

  • Excella Group determines its prices based on its costs and anticipated demand. They are based on fixed costs. But since some variable costs may increase, Excella Group reserve the rights to increase the price of any tour accordingly.
  • Excella Group makes its best effort to provide its clients with the lowest possible prices for its tours. Those price are based on fixed, variable and administrative costs. Excella Group do not accept customer complaints generated by their own calculation of what the tour should actually cost, taking into account prices published by third parties. We consider this as an irreverence. A customer cannot estimate costs incurred by a company and cannot know how deals are being made with third parties. A customer does not have the right to present complaints after having accepted a price and consumed a service offered by a Tour Operator.
  • Our promotions always have a limited period of validity. They can be withdrawn at any time, with or without prior notice.
  • Excella Tours always dedicates time and attention to the greatest satisfaction of its clients at the best prices compared to the offered packages, and always contracts the best local tour agencies. It cannot however be held responsible for any punctual failure or weakness sustained by those agencies.
  • Excella Group makes its best efforts to ensure that the prices published on its website are accurate and actual. However, due to third parties management, last-minute changes may occur and Excella reserve the right to reject, modify, propose adjournment, cancel and refund without notice.
  • Ages of children allowed in excursions vary with the nature of the excursion. All of our offered tours automatically publish the ages from which a child can participate.
  • Excella Group accepts women travelling while pregnant if the pregnancy is not complicated. However, some excursions may not apply or may have restrictions for pregnant women.
  • Any client can become a VIP member of Excella Tours by requesting a VIP membership. The VIP member who wants to be toured once or many times a year can make disbursement to his account any time. He will then be able to automatically participate to his preferred tour by paying the difference, if any, after discount.
  • For all tour (by air, by sea or by bus) a reservation made and paid by Excella Tours upon a client request is not refundable, unless the company where the reservation was made is ready to provide such refund.
  • For all tour, once hotel and excursions’ reservations are made, the client cannot demand a refund; he can be replaced by another person if only this possibility is offered by the partner agencies.
  • The client must show up at the airport two (2) hours prior to departure for international flights and one (1) hour before departure for domestic flights. For international travels by bus, the client must be at the bus station 1.5 hours before departure and for domestic trips by bus, one (1) hour prior to departure. Excella Group is not responsible for the client’s lateness. In case of lateness at the meeting place, either for the outward or for the inward journey, the client misses the trip and cannot be refunded. If this happens abroad, the client must arrange to travel back at his own costs.
  • Prior to each departure to a country or a city, Excella Tours gives to each client the address where the group will be during the stay. The client is free to go out at will, however, Excella Tours is not responsible for his moves.
  • During the excursions led by certified guides, the client must stay with the group at all time and follow the guides’ instructions. If a client leaves the group or gets lost by negligence or indiscipline, he must use the address of his current hotel or private villa, provided by Excella Group, to get back. He will use this address to get helped by a taxi driver. For any difficulty, he must refer to the police. In any case, Excella Tours cannot be held responsible for such situations.
  • A client who does not show up at the time indicated for an excursion loses the opportunity and cannot be refunded.
  • For cruise’s excursions, customs’ policies or even attitude may change unexpectedly in a given country. Excella Group can in no way be held responsible for such problems, and if a vacationer cannot board.
  • The excursions (local or international) do not include health insurance. Excella Group can contract a health insurance upon the client’s request but is not responsible for health issues that could occur during the trips. In this case, the client will personally cover the related expenses. For cruises and very long trips, Excella Group will include health insurance in the offered package.
  • Each client must give the name, address and phone number of a relative or a friend to contact in case of emergency.
  • Excella Tours can customize a tour for a minimum of six (6) persons. Any group of 6 desirous of having excursion in most of those countries of America and Europe can register in our website indicating their approximate preferred date. The trip will be then organized upon order. Excella Tours can increase the number of excursionists or keeping it as such in accordance with the group’s will.  
  • From your credit card (Visa, Mastercard etc.) you may be able to pay through PayPal. PayPal will automatically indicates you that the payment was made to Excella and the reason the payment was made for. Please verify the accuracy of the information you provide when you book (credit card number, billing information) to avoid that your card be declined and your booking cancelled with or without notice and with no responsibility of Excella Group.
  • If you cannot book with a credit card, Excella Group will allow you to make direct deposit or to come to its office for payment.
  • The services offered for a tour (transportation, lodging, food, excursion etc.) vary from one country to another because the provision of water and electricity, the quality of transport and lodging, the gastronomy, the quality of the environment are different from places to places. It is not our responsibility but the customer role to put up with the reality, the customs, rules and laws of the country where the tour is organized. We reserve the right to refuse service to a client who does not comply with this requirement.
  • All tour booked by a customer contains inherently a risk of personal injury, loss or damage to him or to his personal possessions during transportation, lodging, excursions and visits. This customer agrees to personally assume this risk. In these terms and conditions, you discharge Excella Group from any and all liability or claims arising out of or in relation to such risk. You discharge Excella Group from any prejudice caused by any delay, any act, any omission or negligence of third parties involved in the arrangement of your tour.
  • For any cancellation of any tour made by a client, Excella Group will calculate all non-refundable costs from third parties and from its own administration and refund the balance to the customer.
  • Excella Tour cannot assume liability for any loss, damage or injury of any nature due to any case of Force Majeure. Force Majeure condition include without limitation:
    • Natural disaster
    • Condition due to natural disaster (power shortage, road dysfunction…)
    • Anthropic disaster (strike, riot, unrest, demonstration, act of terrorism, violence…)
    • Government alert or disposition
    • Unforeseen factors that impact negatively Excella’s ability to fulfill its contract.
  • Excella Group’s liability for any loss, damage or injury resulting from its own actions, negligence or omission, is limited to the amount you paid to Excella Tours for the expected service.
  • Excella Group reserves the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions at any time and those changes will enter into force immediately after being posted on our website.
  • Excella Group is governed by the law of the Republic of Haiti. Your contract with Excella is however governed as well and is to be construed according to the laws of the destination of your tour. All claim related to an omission from a third party will be brought against such third party only in the jurisdiction where the omission occurred. The governing laws of the jurisdiction where the act or omission of the third party occurred shall apply to such claims.

All customer automatically acknowledge to have read and accept the present Terms and Conditions by making a reservation to purchase service from Excella Tours. He-she agrees to be solely responsible for his-her reservation made on www.excellagroup.org
